Langbesti vinur minn..?
Um daginn datt inn um bréfalúguna hjá mér bréf. Þetta var sumsé ekki gluggapóstur heldur annars konar bréf, blátt og fallegt og merkt mér persónulega. Þegar ég opnaði bréfið kom í ljós að það var frá aðila sem sagðist vera vinur minn. Vinur minn sagði að samband okkar væri sérstakt og að hann léti sér sérstaklega annt um mig, fjölskyldu mína og okkar samband og ætlaði að gera sitt til að rækta það svo það gæti dafnað og verið okkur báðum til gæfu og hagsbóta. Auðvitað varð ég harla glaður því það er öllum dýrmætt að fá bréf frá vinum sínum sem láta sér annt um þá. Vinur minn sem talaði svona fjálglega um okkar samband sagði að af góðsemi sinni einni saman vildi hann gjarnan létta mér lífið og jafnvel gera það sem hann gæti til að spara mér nokkrar krónur í hinu harða lífsgæða kapphlaupi.
